To name a few possibilities which can be done from Husafell or at the site is for example, lava cave tours, glacier tours, ice caves, Golf, swimming, biking, hiking, Northern lights, Super Jeep tours, cross-country skiing, fishing, ice fishing, golf, Horse back riding. Availability of course depends on time of year and such.
On this new tour we will have the opportunity to do some of these fun activities.

Day 1.
Pick up from your hotel in Reykjavík at 9 in the morning for a drive up to the stunning Whale-Fjord an area full of history and natural beauty. We have the opportunity to take a 3-4 hour hike up to the highest waterfall in Iceland, the Glymur waterfall which is 198 meters. After the morning hike we travel further along the shore side of the Fjord where we will see the old whaling station and other places along the route. In a valley just a few km north of the fjord we have the option of a ATV tour, for those interested. From there we are headed further up north on the west side of Iceland through several valleys, past lakes and fertile farmlands up to the biggest hot-spring in the world Deildartunguhver. Here we might have the chance to cook in the boiling hot-spring, but we most likely will take advantage of the new restaurant and Spa there. Before we drive the last Km up to Husafell we make a short stop in Reykholt where the famous writer and scholar Snorri Sturluson lived and worked in the 13th century. We are arriving in the late afternoon at the 4 star Husafell Hotel, which has already become famous for good service and really great food, it´s perfect to take a dip in one of the hot pools or a swim in the swimming pool beside the Hhotel.

Day 2.
Departure at 9 in the morning, today we have cave exploring on the agenda in one of the nearby lava cave tubes, we will use the morning to explore the caves and also to see the fantastic Hraunfossar ( lava waterfalls ) before we go to lunch at Husafell. After lunch we are headed up in to the highland and all the way up on to the second largest glacier in Iceland, the Langjökull glacier. Today we will see why we drive a Super Jeep for this tour, we will have to deflate tires to be able to drive over the rough terrain and also to be able to float on the snow fields in winter time. We have the option to take a special ice tunnel tour up on the glacier in 1200 meters above sea, its a great opportunity to see the glacier from the inside. In late afternoon we are come back to our comfortable hotel in Husafell, where one could in summer time take a round on the 9 hole golf course. This is also a great place in winter time to see the northern lights, perfect to soak in the hot pools and hope for the lights.

Day 3.
Departure at 9.00 We are drive across the highland route Kaldidalur (Cold Valley) towards Þingvellir national park today, during wintertime this can be a real task to cross due to a lot of snow. After we have walked trough part of the national park and learned about its history and geology we continue out to the famous Geysir hot spring, on the way up to there we will have lunch at the charming farm restaurant at Efsti-Dalur. In the afternoon we will enjoy Geyser and the impressive Gullfoss waterfall before we return back to Reykjavík after adventure filled 3 days.
